A hearty WELCOME to the official website of The World's Greatest Travelers™ and the one and only annual open to the public around-the-world travel adventure competition GreatEscape2008: The Global Scavenger Hunt™.

The 4th edition of our little around-the-world travel adventure began on April 11th, 2008, and for the last three weeks all our travelers have been traveling the globe doing scavenges in 10 countries across four continents...from San Francisco to Beijing, Malaysia and Singapore, to Nepal, Bahrain, Egypt, and then on to Europe in Greece, Bulgaria, Romania, Amsterdam, and soon on May 3rd we will crown the 2008 edition of The World's Greatest Travelers™ in Toronto! Stay tuned...the competition is really heating up!


We call our international event A Blind Date With The World™ because none of our 25 Teams of travelers will know which countries or which continents they will be visiting over the three week competition! And unlike those drama-cast and scripted reality TV shows, GreatEscape2008 will consider all who apply--limited to 25
Teams of two and we accept single applicants--and there are no losers and no elimination's on The Global Scavenger Hunt. Contestants participate in a real race from start to finish and accumulate points for completing scavenges and doing extraordinary things in extraordinary global travel destinations. Everyone is a winner just by taking part, BUT, the Team that accumulates the most points after three weeks gets to defend their titles as The World's Greatest Travelers™ and compete in our next event for FREE!

The unofficial motto of our global travel adventure competition is "trusting strangers in strange lands," aside from challenging yourself like you never have before and meeting people around the world, the true goal of this event is to help raise our million dollar goal for some wonderful international humanitarian organizations.

So all you true travel adventure enthusiasts, global jet-setters and competitive souls who are interested in maybe joining our annual global travel adventure event in 2008, we urge you to get the ball rolling ASAP as participation is both limited and on a first come first serve basis...you may APPLY HERE for 2009!
